Its almost time for Halloween on Edisto Beach.
The Town of Edisto Beach is hosting the 5th annual Trick or treat at the Creek at Bay Creek Park. This will take place from 6-8 p.m.
The event is open for the whole family, but is especially fun for the kids. There will be a costume contest, cake walk, games and prizes, and all sorts of treats on tables for easy trick-or-treating.

Family Fun
Head to the Citadel Mall in Charleston for a trick or treat event from 6-8 Oct. 31. Costumes are required, but masks are not allowed. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To know which stores are participating in the trick or treat event, look for stores marked with a balloon or costumed store associate.
If you want to take a longer drive off of the island, head out to the Isle of Palms Recreation Department for the Halloween Carnival. This event will be from 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 31 and features treats, food vendors and concessions, bouncy castles, face painting, and more.
Fun for Grown Ups
On Halloween night, the Music Farm from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. This event will feature the Freak Show Exotica by Entropa Arts, DanceFX Charleston and Music Farm Productions. There will be curious figures and oddities to be seen at the event, but further details havent been release.
Tickets for this event are $20. The Music Farm is located at 32 Ann Street in Charleston.
The Bay Street Biergarten is having the Night of the Living Dead at the Garten on Halloween night. This event features live music, drink specials, jello shots, and a costume contest. The event starts at 8 p.m. and will continue on into the night. The Bay Street Biergarten is located at 549 East Bay Street.
More Family Fun
One of the most exciting parts of Halloween is going up to Mount Pleasant for Boone Hall Fright Nights.
This Halloween event lasts throughout the month of October and features a variety of haunted attractions including the Zombie Town, Twisted Terror, Frightmare Factory, and Wicked Woods Hayride.
Each attraction is individually priced, but scare passes are available for die-hards interested in hitting up all the scary activities in a night. (We highly recommend the scare pass if you love haunted houses and screaming).
This event is not recommended for small children, but is family-friendly.
In addition to the scary attractions, there is food for purchase, music, and various vendors at the event each night.
Boone Hall Fright Nights is located at 2434 on Highway 17 in Mt. Pleasant.
