Tips for Eating Out on Edisto
- Know the two food hubs. Jungle Road is walkable from the beach (SeaCow, The Waterfront, McConkey’s, Crust Station and the Jungle Road shops), and the marina on Docksite Road has Pressley’s, High Tides and Edisto Seafood. Highway 174 spots are a short drive.
- Check the day before you go. Lots of island spots close a day or two a week: Marsh Moon is closed Mondays, Crust Station Monday–Tuesday, High Tides Sunday–Monday, and Bailey’s opens only Friday and Saturday.
- Hours shrink off-season. Many restaurants cut back in fall and winter, so check the listing or call ahead.
- Bring cash for farm stands. George & Pink’s takes cash or check only.
- Make it a night. Pair dinner with one of the Edisto Beach events at Bay Creek Park, right next to the marina restaurants.
