Spring is less than a week away, but this long winter seems to be hanging around in many parts of the country. While theres nothing any of us can do to change the temperature outside, we can fill our minds with warm memories of what a summer vacation at Edisto Beach is like.

Theres nothing fun about driving around in winter weather and this year, it seems like no one in the country was immune from poor road conditions.
But remember when driving was fun? As a teen, cruising around town with the windows down, radio on, and a car-full of friends was the best thing ever. Taking a golf cart around Edisto is a lot like that.
Explore streets youve never traveled, park at a beach access to watch the sun rise or set, or just cruise around. Theres always something new to see when traveling by golf cart.
Patience can be pushed to the limit while being stuck behind a slow-moving golf cart on Jungle Road or any of the side streets, but remember to leave road rage on the other side of the bridge. After all, theres no need to rush when youre on Edislow time.
Go for a Dip
Getting wet in the winter is one of the worst things imaginable. Stepping into an ice cold puddle, walking into work in the rain, or getting covered in snow is like adding insult to injury when temperatures are already cold. Water is certainly the enemy in the winter months. Maybe thats why the summer makes up for it so well.
In the summer months, the ocean warms up to about 84 degrees, making it perfect for anyone looking to kick back and relax. On the days when the humidity is so thick it could be cut with a knife, theres nothing like grabbing a float and heading out into the water to cool off.
Its hard to imagine anymore more perfect than rolling over waves during a steamy summer afternoon.
Time to Plan a Visit
