Edisto Beach 4th of July

Independence Day is Edisto Beach’s biggest summer day: a morning golf cart parade decked out in red, white, and blue, an afternoon on the beach, and an evening of music and professional fireworks at Bay Creek Park. The Edisto Chamber calls the whole day “Red, White, and Beach.”

The 2026 Lineup

For America’s 250th birthday in 2026, the day ran like this, and the 2027 schedule is expected to follow a similar pattern:

• 10 a.m.: Golf Cart Parade (decorate your cart and join in)
• Afternoon: Beach time
• 1:24 p.m.: “Salute from the Shore” F-16 flyover along the coast (2026 only)
• Evening: July 4th on the Creek with music and professional fireworks at Bay Creek Park

Know Before You Go

• Personal fireworks are not allowed on Edisto’s beaches. Leave it to the pros at Bay Creek Park.
• Bring lawn chairs and a picnic for the fireworks; the park fills early.
• July 4th is peak season, so book rentals and dinner reservations well ahead.
