Edisto Beach Fall Festival

The Edisto Beach Fall Festival is the island’s big autumn street fair: a free, day-long gathering on Jungle Road with local artists and makers, food, live music, and tables from Edisto businesses and nonprofits. Hosted by the Edisto Chamber of Commerce, it’s one of the best days of the year to see the whole community out in one place.

2026 Schedule

• 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Vendors open, with about 50 artists, crafters, food makers, and local businesses
• 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Pumpkin carving contest for kids and adults (first 25 entrants); public voting 2–3:30 p.m., winners announced at 3:30
• Noon – 3:30 p.m.: Live music from Edisto Gumbo in the lot between Jungle Road Plaza and Food Lion/McConkey’s (bring a chair)
• Noon – 3 p.m.: Cake walk at the top of each hour

What to Expect

Browse handmade jewelry, coastal art, pottery, photography, and woodwork alongside baked goods and local food. Many of Edisto’s nonprofits set up tables too, so it’s an easy way to meet the groups that keep the island running. With the festival landing on Halloween this year, costumes are fair game.

Turtle Tide Art Project

In past years the festival doubled as the auction for the Turtle Tide Art Project, the Chamber’s artist-painted loggerhead turtle sculptures. Turtle Tide is taking 2026 off and returns in 2027.

Parking & Tips

• Parking near Jungle Road fills fast; walking, biking, or a golf cart is the easiest way in.
• Bring some cash for smaller vendors.
• Make a day of it with lunch at McConkey’s Jungle Shack or ice cream at 3 Gulls Creamery, right in Palmetto Plaza.
• Want a booth next year? Chamber members exhibit free; the 2026 non-member fee was $60, and registration closes in early September.
